Launch and performance
How Roblox starts, and the settings it starts with.
One-click launch
Launch Roblox checks for an update, applies your profile and starts Roblox, showing each step with a Cancel.
Launch profiles
Start from Performance, Balanced or Quality, keep up to 50 of your own, and pick one from the Launch button.
A profile for each game
Give a game its own profile on its page, and it always launches with it.
Plain graphics settings
Frame rate limit, graphics quality, fullscreen, Vulkan, anti-aliasing, grass distance, gray sky and display scaling, each with its tradeoff in one line.
Roblox's own frame rates
The limits Roblox's menu offers, from 60 to 240 FPS, or one that matches your display.
FastFlags from an allowlist
Advanced adds only the 14 FastFlags Velin allows, and drops flags Roblox no longer honors.
Every change shown first
Velin lists each change before it writes it, takes a backup first, and after a launch shows what Roblox applied and what it ignored.
Backups and repair
Restore a backup, put back Roblox's own settings, run diagnostics, or export and import your Velin data.
Velin's own Roblox Player
Install and update Roblox Player from Roblox's own servers, checked for Roblox Corporation's signature before it runs.
Your other Players
Velin finds Roblox, Bloxstrap, Fishstrap and Velin Player installs, and if the one you chose disappears, it picks another and says so.
Browser Play links
With the installed copy, offer Velin in Windows' default apps, so Play buttons on roblox.com open in Velin Player.
AFK mode
While you are away, it taps Roblox every 5, 10 or 15 minutes so an idle session stays connected. Some experiences do not allow AFK.
Tray and startup
Velin waits in the tray while you play, can start with Windows, and its tray menu launches Roblox and switches AFK mode.
Light while you play
In the tray, Velin pauses its page and its scenes stop. Measured on a Windows 11 PC: no GPU, under 0.1% of the CPU and about 65 MB of memory.
Storage cleanup
Clear old Roblox logs, caches, pictures, old backups and leftover files, each with its size, once you confirm.

Six packs
Nebula, Aurora, Ember, Neon, Verdant and Mono each set Velin's colors, font, sounds and scene at once.

Try a pack for a moment, then keep it or go back.
Theme Studio
Make your own theme: accent and base colors, a scene, a picture or a solid background, a font and sounds, with a live preview.
Ten animated scenes
Floating block islands behind Home: Isles, Dawn, Neon, Frost, Verdant, Sakura, Ember, Lagoon, Dunes and Void.
Scene options
A time of day that can follow your clock, snow, rain, petals, fireflies or embers, how many islands, and calm or lively motion.
Scenes that rest
Scenes stop while Roblox runs or the window is hidden, rest after two idle minutes, and follow your motion setting.
Your avatar on the island
The avatar of the account Velin shows stands in the scene, and you can drag it to turn it.
Share packs
Import and export packs as .velinpack files.
Roblox cursor, death sound and font
Pick them from any pack. Velin says which work in your Roblox version; the death sound and font are experimental.
The Velin mark
A small Velin mark in a corner of Roblox's window while it is in front, with its corner, size and opacity yours to choose.
Display settings
Five interface fonts, text size from 85 to 130 percent, glass or solid surfaces, and full, reduced or no motion.
Opening animation
Velin's V draws in for a moment when it opens, and a click skips it.

Your games, and what to play next.
Library
Every game you play through Velin appears by itself, and you can add any game by its link.
Search, filter and sort
Find a game by name, show favorites or recent ones, and sort by recent, most played or name.
Playtime from Roblox's logs
Each game shows its total, this week, its sessions and a daily chart.
Game pages
The game's icon and pictures, Roblox's description and creator, your playtime and notes, and the profile the game launches with.
Game links
A game's Discord, YouTube, X and Roblox group, for players signed in with Roblox.
Updated marks
A game shows Updated when its creator changed it after you last played.
Update notifications
A Windows notification when a favorite, or a game you played this month, updates.
Private servers
Save private server links with a name and join one with a click. The links stay on your PC.
Jump back in and your week
Home shows your recent games and the week's playtime, day by day.
Trending
For you, Trending and Popular from Roblox's public lists, with sponsored rows left out.
Command palette
Ctrl+K finds games, pages, settings, profiles and packs, and Alt+1 to Alt+6 open the pages in the sidebar.
Friends and accounts
The accounts you play on, and who you play with.
Your Roblox accounts
Add an account by signing in with Roblox on Roblox's own page, which proves it is yours. Its session stays on your PC, protected by Windows.
Your active account
Velin shows the account you signed in with, or until then the one Roblox played as last on this PC.
Sign in with Roblox
Friends use Roblox's own sign-in in your browser, for players 13 and older. Velin never sees your password.
Friends
Find players by username, send and accept requests, and see who is online and what they are playing.
Profiles
A profile shows total playtime, up to ten favorite games and the pack its owner wears.
Privacy choices
Show your profile to everyone, friends or only you, and turn playtime, what you play and favorites on or off. What is off is not sent.
Friend notifications
A notification when a friend starts a game, at most once an hour for each.
Delete your account
Delete your Velin account in the app, and everything in it leaves the service.
Overlay and tools
Guides, and the overlay that shows them over the game.
Guides from Trello
Add a game's public Trello board by its link, read its cards and checklists, and refresh it. Velin suggests boards for games you play.
Checklists and counters
Your own lists to tick off, counters with a goal, a step and a unit, and notes.
Overlay over Roblox
Open a guide in a small window over the game, then move it, resize it, collapse it or dock it beside Roblox.
Opacity and click-through
Set its opacity, make it solid, or let clicks pass through to Roblox, with four ways back.
Shortcuts
Ctrl+Alt+G shows or hides the overlay and Ctrl+Alt+T turns click-through on and off, from any app.
Guides that follow your game
Link a guide to games, and it opens when you join one.
First-run setup
A short setup picks your Roblox Player, a preset and a look.
Privacy and open source
What Velin never does, and the licence it is under.
No password, no cookies
Velin never sees your Roblox password and never reads, keeps or sends your Roblox cookies.
No tracking
No analytics, no telemetry, no crash reports.
No injection
Velin never reads Roblox's memory or injects into it. Playtime comes from Roblox's own log files.
Your data on your PC
What Velin keeps stays in %LOCALAPPDATA%\Velin, and only what you choose to show friends leaves it.
Your history, your call
Turn playtime tracking off, or clear your history, in Settings.
Signed updates
Velin checks for an update when it opens, and installs one only if its signature and checksum match.

Free software under the GNU General Public License, version 3. The source goes public at launch.
