These terms cover Velin Pro, the way to support Velin. Velin is free to use: Pro supports its development and adds a few features. They add to the terms of service, which still apply.
The short version
- Velin Pro is $7.99 a month, or $49.99 once for lifetime use. Velin is free to use without it.
- Monthly renews until you cancel. Cancel any time and keep Pro until the month you paid for ends.
- Lifetime means for as long as Velin's service runs.
- You can ask for a refund within 14 days, and your rights under the law where you live always apply.
- Stripe handles the payment. Velin never sees your card.
Who sells Velin Pro
Velin Pro is sold by Fossa, a business in the United States ("we", "us"), the maker of Velin. Payments are made through Stripe, in your browser, on Stripe's own pages. Velin and Fossa never see or keep your card details. Velin is independent software, not affiliated with or endorsed by Roblox Corporation.
What Velin Pro is
Velin is free to use. Velin Pro supports its development and adds:
- a Pro badge on your Velin profile, which your friends can see where they see your profile;
- switching between your Roblox accounts in Velin;
- your own thumbnails for launch profiles and for games;
- a custom profile picture and banner, and choosing your favorite games and showing their playtime;
- extra packs, scenes and skies for supporters;
- early access to new features.
Everything else in Velin stays free for everyone. What Pro adds can change over time, as Velin does. When Pro ends, the Pro features switch off and the rest of Velin works as before.
Pro belongs to the Roblox account you are signed in to Velin with, and stays with that account if you delete your Velin account and sign in again.
Prices and taxes
Velin Pro costs $7.99 a month, or $49.99 once for lifetime use, in US dollars unless the checkout shows another currency. Sales tax or VAT is added where it applies, and the checkout shows the total before you pay.
Monthly
The monthly plan renews each month on the day you started it, and is charged to the payment method you used, until you cancel. You can cancel any time in Velin, in Settings, Velin Pro, Manage subscription, which opens Stripe's portal. After you cancel nothing more is charged, and you keep Pro until the end of the month you paid for. If a renewal does not go through, Pro stays for a few days while Stripe tries again, and ends if it still fails.
Lifetime
The lifetime plan is one payment, with nothing to renew. It gives you Pro for as long as Velin's service runs. If we ever stop running the Velin service, we will say so in Velin and on this site before it stops.
Codes from the website
If you buy Pro on this website without the app, you get a code once you have paid. It is also in your purchase details from Stripe. Redeem it once in Velin while signed in, in Settings, Velin Pro, and Pro goes on that Roblox account. A code works once, on one account, so keep it to yourself until you use it.
Refunds
If Velin Pro is not what you hoped, you can ask for a refund within 14 days of a payment by writing to support@occlara.app with the email address you paid with. We decide each request case by case. A refund in full ends Pro, and for the monthly plan it cancels the subscription too. A refund of part of a payment leaves Pro as it is.
Where the law gives you a right to withdraw from a purchase or a refund, such as the right of withdrawal in the European Union and the United Kingdom, that right applies, and nothing in these terms takes it away.
Disputed payments
If you dispute a payment with your bank or card issuer, Pro ends and a monthly plan is cancelled while the dispute is open. Please write to us first: we would rather sort it out with you.
What we keep about a purchase
For each purchase the Velin service keeps Stripe's ids for it, the plan, whether it is active, its dates, and the Roblox account it belongs to. For a code bought on the website it keeps only a fingerprint of the code. It never keeps card details. Stripe keeps the payment itself, under its own privacy policy. We keep purchase records as long as the law requires for tax and accounting.
Changes
We may change prices or what Pro adds. A new price for the monthly plan applies to your subscription only after we tell you in Velin or by email, from your next renewal, and you can cancel before it does. A change never takes back a lifetime purchase you have made.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Where you live may give you rights as a consumer that these terms cannot take away, and those rights still apply.
